Several times. Be sure to sit on the west side of the train. The landscape of the ocean is fabulous. Parties Irvine Orange County in Santa Ana are pretty boring. Old neighborhoods and industrial parks. Make sure you can use the sea when seen in Dana Point, San Clemente too. Oceanside After about 10 miles from downtown is the great beaches, some of which have never before seen from a road. And try to eat before boarding the train. It is expensive and not very good.

I did it once with my girlfriend ... thought we wanted a good time on the train and at the end are not so great. There are many stops ... but if you have time, do not drive, at least with. Also, the nature of the basket of snacks made of blood Maries, you kind of saved the trip!

The drive from downtown Los Angeles and downtown San Diego is 2 hours and 45 minutes, which is not too long and is often faster than driving when traffic.

The ride through Los Angeles and Orange County is not so interesting, you see a lot of industrial estates and suburbs. But once you reach the southern coast of organized crime around San Clemente, then the landscape becomes much more fun as it moves along the coast to San Diego. You get a great view of the sea to the west and some views of the mountains in the east. The article continues through the sea is my favorite and one of the most beautiful parts of the tower in my opinion.
